• Deconstructing the bond between process and product into a more natural, dynamic and reversed relationship between the means and predefined ends. By placing the value in the continued journey of the creative process, the value never diminishes, in the contrary; it continues to flourish. The creative process is built on three pillars: Questioning, Consciousness and Continuum.

Questioning: Encouraging a critical way of looking at the world that challenges conceptions of truth and knowledge. Competing realities and imaginations are human concepts generated by structures and systems. The critical interaction with and recognition of such systems imply a state of questioning. Being critical and being curious.

Consciousness: Can the external be the destruction of the internal? Macro destructive norms have pushed climate into crisis. Impacting the internal individual and on a societal level. Sustainability is composed of interrelating factors: Versatility - Durability - Functionality - Circularity - Honesty

Continuum: With a distorted value-judgement we have lost a genuine relationship with oneself. The balance between differences is where the value lies, the experiences, the fluidity of journey, choice and compromises. By placing the value in the continued journey of the creative process, the value never diminishes, in the contrary; it continues to flourish.

  • A conscious interaction with the process. The design process, with inspirations informed by materiality, texture, and light, starts with fabrics, colour and mood. Research into existing garments gives shape to elevate the classic wardrobe staples. The creation of each garment involved practical research on construction techniques as well as, the continuous prototyping and refining of toiles. This ensured a natural evolution of the garments to reach full outfits that stand alone as strong as they do together. Cumulative design decisions on garments based on silhouette, fit and finishing’s, contribute to the quality, integrity, and overall consistency of the collection.
